Sandro may just be too knackered to play tomorrow. He was gone after 60 minutes on Wednesday

100% correct West, great post.Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostSo we spend summer bringing in all these new younger centre mids, to play a young side and develop them; 8 games in and people start calling for Sandro to come back... A bloke who doesn't want to be here, is nickin a livin off us, trains when he wants, and can only last 60 minutes... The future is not Sandro!
I give up!!

Probably my choice as well to be honest. Good side there.Originally posted by West London is Rss View Post-------------------Smithies--------------------

Personally don't want Sandro or Henry involved anymore.
Think the reason we aren't settled or won't challenge this year, is because we don't know our best team or setup"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

The amount I'm agreeing with you today is unreal mate. This is 100% right.Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostThe formation thing is a load of bollarks IMO - 1 up front makes absolutely no difference. We've won games this season with 1 up front and there are bigger and better clubs than us that use the formation, play at home, and smash teams. 2 up front is a myth IMO. We won the league in 2011 playing 1 up front.
It's about intensity, pressing, getting the ball wide and service to the front men."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Not a fan f Bidwell but no other option. Would play the pole for Yeni who has been poor so far ned at RB Chery up top instead of the waste of space Washington and put mass in his place in the middleOriginally posted by Shepherds Mush View PostDon't care who JFH picks, this is simply the side I would go with tomorrow
-----------------------Ingram------------------------
Kakay----------Hall(C)----------Lynch----------Bidwell
N'Gbakoto-------Sandro-----------Chery-------Shodipo

Assuming all available.
Smithies in goal too has not really done anything to be dropped and Ingram made error for Sunderland winner midweek

Shodipo, Yeni, Wszolek as good starting wingers surely, Nasser off the bench has some impact sometimes. We just need them getting more deliveries in. They need to be confident that the middle two behind them (hopefully Luongo and either Cousins or Ariel) can cover them when they push forward. Having Henry there just means that everyone takes a step deeper to accommodate, so they don't get to the byline often enough.Originally posted by Rich View PostTo be frank I can't work out the best side from what I've seen because I've seen inconsistency. From players playing next to a different player every game to a pressing game that works well to a pressing game that isn't a pressing game...
All I know is that if we want to win I believe we need experience and energy in the middle of the park and for me that's Sandro and Cousins. Sylla looks hard working, good in the air and quite good but not sure we can have him and Polter on the pitch together. Chery for me used to be first name on the team sheet but now I'm not so sure.
We seriously lack good wingers. Defence looks decent on paper...."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value.
