I believe alot of the in-house fighting on here is down to different age groups expecting different results. I believe alot of us 'oldies' were spoilt when younger, growing up watching a game that was more about pride, passion & respect than money. Also with the introduction of the Internet & Social media, we are provided with information overload. Most of us old gits got our football fix on MOTD, evening news, back page of the the red tops & Ceefax
Now days, I am 4000+ miles away from LR & if JFH does anything, I receive an alert on my phone.
As quite a few have said on this thread, give me entertainment over promotion everyday.
I never want to see our team lose, but I also find it intolerable to be served up negative game-play in the hope of not conceding & hopefully nicking a 1-0 win.Minds Are Like Parachutes.

Don't forget Ollie did his bit get the QPR spirit back , yes I have to agree with the last few posts you've made its what made QPR feel specialYep, well that's the $64,000 question, isn't it?
I guess I was a bit spoilt by growing up with the QPR of old. In recent times Warnock renewed my faith in our tradition though, which was heart-warming to see - and proof that it can still be applied to the modern game for a smaller club like ours, at least at Championship level...The Leicester story is a fantastic one too.Comment

Yep. Whats 1 game if it means this clown is gone. Still leaves plenty of time to get a manager in who will give it a go. Play players in there right positions and 4-4-2Bumped into a fellow fan in a shop this morning and got talking all things QPR and ultimately got round to discussing JFH.
He said he would like to see us get stuffed tomorrow if it meant getting rid of Jimmy whereas I find it difficult to accept any defeat no matter what the circumstances.
So my question to all those who would like to see Jimmy gone is, would you take a proper tonking tomorrow if it meant another nail in Jimmy's coffin.Comment

But if you think about the team we had at the time, he had us playing some phenomenal stuff, and mid table with that team probably was success imo. I think success is relative. That team never would've got anywhere near the playoffs in a million years.Top Scorers 2018/2019

Normally I would agree that I would not want a defeat, but i think QPR screwed up when they didn't sack Redkrapp because they beat Villa. Had they lost he would have been sacked and maybe Pulis or someone other than Ramsey would have been appointed.Bumped into a fellow fan in a shop this morning and got talking all things QPR and ultimately got round to discussing JFH.

A win tomorrow would only mask the real QPR under JFH, which is a dull, negative run of the mill side that is on a downward spiral.Comment

You talk about dull, negative run of the mill side and then say we missed out on Pulis? Would he have improved our style of play?Normally I would agree that I would not want a defeat, but i think QPR screwed up when they didn't sack Redkrapp because they beat Villa. That's fair enough. It is an entertainment business.Comment

Agree with that. Some of the football was blinding. What would you say is success for the current team this season?Comment

i just want a team that gives it all, that walks of the pitch knowing they couldn't give any more effort , i just don't see it with this lot and haven't seen it from a rangers team in years bar the odd game . i want to see good football and see my team attack and have a go at every team they play . i'd also like JFH to come out and say why he did this or that , the fans feel such a disconnection to the team at the moment the team should be made to come over to our fans when we play away and applaud them for turning out at barnsley on a mid week night . i've not wanted promotion for years as the PL is all about money and just attracts the wrong kind of players to us . if and when a team is built properly like leicester city were then great lets all look forward to going up and staying upComment

With the team we have, on paper, we should at least be challenging for a playoff place.
Having seen how we've played this season (and, indeed, our whole time under JFH), top half of the table would be successful.
Just my opinion of course. In fact before the season started I said I'd be happy with a top 10 finish.Top Scorers 2018/2019
