Two of them being new signings (heck, even caulker will feel like a new signing after being away from the club for a year). Takes time to settle.

Most of us know that it was a mistake getting rid of Ali and Clint before having somebody at the club who could take over from them. Both of them led on the pitch. With them gone there isn't anybody. You can't expect a new player to come in and immediately take over this roll.

If the manager choses his best team, plays them in the correct position and they all know what they are supposed to be doing (with some flexibility) then there will be less need for a leader on the pitch.

This is true...and when will he start to do it, regularly.

You can't expect Ned or even Henry to organise other players when half the time they can't organise themselves.
