And Warnock for the spirit. We needed to go back to basics when he came in and he did that by getting in some good honest pros who'd been round the block before. so what you're saying is... uncle tony should ignore the fans calling for jimmy to be sacked and start interfering with team selection and the formation instead? i, for one, can't see how that approach could in any way go wrong.

No, not saying that at all. Run a pro club properly. That doesn't mean listening to fans or supporting the manager come what may. Fans can be right but they also talk sheet and not all managers work out, far from it.
