Personally I'd only go for him if we were actually going to make him a star player. The guy is well known for being a wasted talent with a questionable attitude. Unless you were going to build a team around him (much like we did with Adel a few years back), you know the guy is going to end up disappointing. If we signed him now he would end up playing second fiddle to Chery, he'd lose interest and he'd sulk on the bench on big wages. All in all it would be bad for morale.

Apparently his agent has been touting him all around the bottom half of the Prem and the Championship sides who could potentially afford him and nobody has registered a firm interest. There has to be a reason for that!
