"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

If we're talking about Celtic then there's obviously the 3 Southampton boys, ki seung yeung, ledley. A lot more ex rangers players have made it in the premiership probably due to their liquidation, Naismith, jelavic, whittaker, Hutton, Davis, arteta, Charlie Adam just to name a few of the recent ones... Then you've got Andy Robertson who was at Dundee United before hull, sone aluko who was at Aberdeen before hull, Steven Fletcher who was at hibs before moving to the premiership, and mcarthur and McCarthy who both played for hamilton before joining Wigan, so I don't think it's quite a myth.Is that a bit of a myth though? I cant really think of anyone who's gone up there and subsequently gone on to a bigger club/done great things. I think many get suckered in by the poor standard up there and some actually get worse! The only player I can think of is Henrik LarssonComment

I wouldn't say any of the players mentioned have gone on to do great things - (Larsson won the Champions League for example). I'd say the players mentioned have all had decent careers but nothing special, barring perhaps ArtetaIf we're talking about Celtic then there's obviously the 3 Southampton boys, ki seung yeung, ledley. Just seen Celtic got turned over by a side from Gibralter made up of taxi drivers, firemen and postmen that had, straight up, worked a shift earlier today
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

They were pretty poor on the whole, I mean they unfairly had a goal ruled out but Lincoln had a chance of getting a second just after they score their first goal so really could have been worse.Dembele got no service in the second half before he was taken off.Comment

Impossible Matty , they play in front of 52000 every other Saturday !! Celtic in all honesty would be worse than us if they had a season in the prem. League 1 side at bestOoh northern lads love gravyComment

Even their attendances are dwindling. Average home attendance last season was 44k, Celtic Park holds 60k.
