Warren Farm campaigners have launched a crowdfunding page to raise money so they can take Ealing Council to court.

In 2013, QPR Football Club was given the go ahead for a multi-million pound training facility on the council-owned Metropolitan Open Land. The decision sparked outrage among campaigners , led by Save Warren Farm (SWF), who believe the land in Southall should not be leased to a private company.

By all accounts all plans are now in place etc. It's just local residents who keep opposing - that's where it gets complicated.
