Who would get it and why?

Was interesting to see Kev bring this up on the Gladwin thread. Has smithies sensational performances from January done enough to get it or a newbie like Hall or maybe even Polter done enough to get the nod?

Smithies has been excellent but if we are looking over the whole season then I think Grant Hall gets the nod from me.

Smithies or Polter for me. Smithies because he's a sensational shot-stopper and has restored confidence to our defence for the first time in a long time. The Polt because he's a fantastic character who gives 100% every game but has endured a lot of abuse only to prove he knows where the net is, and I like him. Chery 3rd.

If it were Player of the Half Season I'd give it to Smithies. Hall for me.

Smithies. Can't underestimate how much confidence it gives to the side knowing you have a consistently solid keeper.

Decided on Polter for this poll mainly because I can't decide between Hall and Smithies but its between all 3 for me

Not so great last 2 games which blots the memory, but Hall was been fantastic all season and, for me, is POTY by some distance. Smithies 2nd.

Smithies all day long, head and shoulders the best player in our starting 11 . Halls been good but smithies has come in and outshone everyone,Englands 25!

Polter for me - worked extremely hard all season and shown huge strides with his ability. Hall in second - simply because he's had some shocking games.Smithies is a half season player so hasn't warranted it for me.
