    Boring Championship season

So boring this mid-table, mediocre football in this league. Would take yo-yoing between Premier League and Championship any day of the week. At least you would have fun every other year.

We needed to get the spending under control, which has contributed to an average season. Could have been a lot worse.
We're now in a position to pretty much start from scratch. Might take a few seasons to get to a point where we're challenging for promotion though.

For six seasons we have had something to play for so this makes a change.
I have quite enjoyed the last four or five home games since we had nothing to play for. Quite relaxing for a change.

I actually really enjoyed the game yesterday. I think we are a few really good players from competing in the play off hunt next season. If Brighton can do it who have been pretty average for ages then so can we.

Great post doc and I'm with you. So many were saying relegation would not be bad thing as the championship is exciting and we would win every week but in all honesty it's a dire, boring unentertaining division with next to no quality

What rather be battling to stay in prem then this league

In the same way, I don't think I'd enjoy being a stoke for example in the prem. I think given what we've gone through, with one season of just average everything. everyone's gotten bored. I mean, you can see it in all of us, some of us tried to create play off hopes (myself included), some were afraid of relegation even though we were never really consistently good or bad enough for either of these scenarios.

When you think about it, it's true as it's way more exciting than being mid table.

I agree with Norths, if we're looking long term we needed this but it may take sometime. I want us back where we belong and I want us to stay there, we do need to build our support no matter which way you look at it.

New fans and supporters are more than welcome, let's grow with the times.

Last time we were in the championship it was boring as f*ck too under wonky face, but at least we were fighting for something.

This time around no better. Lack of quality is shocking & just find it hard being entertained.

Go back to Warnocks season now. Well, that's a different kettle of fish altogether. Better not mention the A word though or some will have a meltdown. What I'd do to see 10% of his flair & skill every week now.

I think we're missing him, just what we need right now.

Agree Jimmy. Mr. A was worth the match ticket alone.

Being in the Prem and permanently worrying about relegation is pure misery imo.
I personally am much happier where we are now.

And to add to that, I'm not a ST holder so it's easier for me to rock up and get in when I can
