So let's now assume that Fer, Sandro, Green, Traore, Diakite, Phillips and probably Hoillet are all going at the end of this season. That free's up some decent funds for a new intake. I feel the squad is heading in the right direction and JFH is putting his stamp on things now. We have our mid table consolidated so it is all about next season.

Realistically we will not be putting in multi million pound bids in for anyone but who should we be looking at to play alongside the likes of Luongo, Chery, Hall, Smithies and Washington next season. I feel we do need some premiership proven quality as we will be a youthful looking side and there will be a hell of a lot of players released as ever. Whilst learning our lessons from big money journey men, who would we like to see come to us. To start the ball rolling how about Glen Murray to cover Poulter and Washington. He would not cost any money plus he is proven at championship level and could be a useful impact player.

I would agree / 'hope' that Fer, Sandro, Green, Traore, Diakite will ALL be leaving Loftus Road this Summer. 1. Because they are on unreal wages 'collectively' and that will help free further transfer funds and 2. IMHO and as a whole, you never really got 100% from these guys, it was always a mixed bag of performances which is exactly what we dont stand for at QPR.

It's all about hardwork and pride, chucked in with a flair player who gets Loftus Road rocking. E.g. Chery currently...

I wouldn't add loads to our current crop of players, as it then feels like a rebuild again, but we are short in certain areas and lacking the extra bit of quality to get into the top 6.

Nedum is a CB and cannot be used as RB / LB because it just doesn't suit him, but he can do a job every now and then out of position. Hall will be even better next season, its quite incredible how well he's done this year. With this I wouldnt be overly concerned with these two as a partnership and a new CB as cover.

Perch has done reasonably well as the season progressed, but he would be better suited as a squad player next season maybe? On top of this we deffo need a new LB, not sure of anyone on the top of my head, I wouldnt hold out on Robinson personally.

I highlighted Junior and Matty above, as they are big question marks on where they will be playing next season. Matty has will have 1 year left, so he might get flogged but I would try to extend that deal and keep him as he is a very good player IMO and he offers a lot to the team including goals. Junior has been superb under JFH so I would try hard to give him a 2 year deal on wages that represent our level now. Losing both would be crazy, trying to replace 2 creative wingers would be massively hard.

I still think we need another left winger as it is without losing 2.

CM we are nearly sorted, maybe another top CM would be great and another 1 or 2 stikers to go with Polter and Washington. (Get rid of JET ASAP).

I don't think Phillips has been good for us this season, heck, you can just tell he doesn't want to be here.

Realistically I can see us getting Huws from Wigan and Adomah from Mid. Both would be great signings for us and Adomah would be a perfect replacement for Phillips, plus he's a QPR supporter so he'd be passionate playing for us which is a bonus.

We've got a lot of CM's but not the right mix. As much as I like Henry, we need a real ball-winning CDM who can pass a ball to go alongside Luongo/Faurlin.

As for a striker. I'd go for Nakhi Wells but can see us going for cover rather than a starter.

Yeah Agreed. Toszer can leave IMO.

He plays half hearted most of the time. Just shows his potential in a way. The fact he's our second top goal scorer without really playing anywhere near his best.

I rate the lad and think he's much better than hoilett on his day but he doesn't want to be here and I hope we sell him for 5-7 mill in the summer and reinvest.

Only chance of him staying would be if he our proved himself elsewhere.

It's a shame that Hoilett is likely to leave as I would love him to sign on a two year deal but if we can use the money from other sales well and reinvest intelligently, we might be able to sign very solid replacements. Would love us to bring Maitland-Niles on loan IF we aren't able to buy anyone good enough outright.

I'll add another name to the hat for that CM role we need. Adam Forshaw at Boro. Doesn't really play unless Leadbitter and Clayton are injured. Very good player

If we're gonna look at CM's I'd like to go through some Eredivisie players as they're generally quite cheap:

Lewis Baker of Chelsea on loan at Vitesse has done really well there and is only 20 years old. Has 5 goals and 3 assists in 25 games there so generally does well going forward, with excellent long shooting and good forward passing but does lack some defensive qualities. Currently valued at 938k but will most likely be a loan if anything.
Yassine Ayoub of FC Utrecht, with 1 goal and 5 assists in 22 starts and is good at tackling, set pieces and playing through balls. Currently valued at 2.63 million
Tonny Vilhena of Feyenoord, with 4 goals and 4 assists in 14 starts and 8 sub appearances (a goal involvement every other game in terms of minutes). Very good on the ball with good free kicks and vision although his size may be an issue. He's valued at 3.38 mil but his contract is expiring in the summer and could be a massive coup.
Simon Gustafson of Feyenoord, with 3 goals and 5 assists in only 12 starts and a sub appearance (a goal involvement every 1.3 matches). A tall Centre Mid with great forward football although he may be limited defensively despite his frame. Currently valued at 1.88 million.

Here's another selection from the 2. Bundesliga if we're looking for a game winning centre mid to elevate us:

Damir Kreilach is a 26 year old centre mid for Union Berlin (the same club that Polter played for last season on loan). He's managed an incredible 10 goals from central midfield this season and 5 assists, but more impressive is that 5 of those goals he's scored were the match winning goal, making his goals more valuable in the league. He's currently captain of the side but their mid table position may open him up to a transfer here. He's a set piece specialist, can play both attacking and defensive and has time until he reaches his peak age (28/29). Valued at 1.13 million, he'd represent good value for money and he's well respected by his team mates at his club.

I like the Huddlestone, Lansbury shouts as they have been around the block and hopefully have a point to prove. Also Forshaw is a shout although cannot see him leaving Boro if they go up. How about Wilson currently on loan at Brighton and would seem only ever going to be a bit part at United.

If anyone thinks we'll be able to get championship players that are good enough for a promotion run on the prices we're going to offer, you may need to review the players. I think we're either gonna be looking at league 1 players who can step up or foreign players who want to prove themselves.
