I am not saying he should have started but he wasn't even on Scotland's bench. Must be injured even if just a niggle? Not great news for Friday considering Hoilett and Luongo wont be 100%. Guess Petrasso and El Khayati will be in with a shout.

I think I read that Scotland picked separate squads for each of the two games. Phillips was only in the first squad so hopefully should be fit. -
