SLF said that the U21s format, at the Fans' Forum, was $hite and should be replaced with league competition. What resemblance does it bear to professional football?

Trialist means we needed to pull someone off the street to make up the numbers.

And he's bang on the money what's the good of theses games inexperience playing against inexperience , greedy football clubs didn't want to pay for the old combination league where you could bring in a trialist play in a match along side some of the senior squad against other senior players see how he goes and ask your players about him .
A young defender from the youth playing along side Hill would learn far more like wise a young M/fielder along sided Faulin , get a lazy player like JET to play a few games with senior reserves they would soon suss him out more so than a coach on the sidelines

oops... sorry, i was talking about bancessi (he'd just scored his second goal for the u21s in about 2 minutes).

on jet, i think he was a cheap option - a free with not skyhigh wages. shame that he has the ability but a bit of a swazzy attitude...

Too right. The Combination League was far far better all round. It gave youngsters a chance alongside 1st teamers recovering from injury or just trying to win their way back into the 1st team. Probably one reason why QPR produced decent youngsters.
