Anyone seriously expecting a team boasting a midfield of Karl Henry and Daniel Toszer to get results consistently is nuts. Added to the madness of having a 54year old left back, things were never gonna be straightforward.
The sooner all 3 are out the side the quicker we move forward.Comment

Henry is fine but why are we playing the other 2?Anyone seriously expecting a team boasting a midfield of Karl Henry and Daniel Toszer to get results consistently is nuts. Added to the madness of having a 54year old left back, things were never gonna be straightforward.

just back it was bad . being stuck up high didn't help , when the goals are on later it will look like we had about 200 fans their .no atmosphere the team are starting to bore us . no passion , heart or fight . players not willing to bust a gut that are happy passing the ball backwards all game . no service to washington . no creativity ..... our midfield is weak loungo , chery , toszer and henry are just not good enough . i didn't know one mk dons player and they bossed our midfield todayComment

This was the performance I expected, away from home all season has been pretty awful if the truth be told on and off the pitch. We haven't put back to back performances together for a long time. If you want a few years in the championship to rebuild the team this is what we have top put up with, you can't play well every week and win and finish mid-table you have to be #### sometimesComment

I've been following Rangers since 1970, but due to personal reasons I've had to miss a few home games this season and haven't been away. What I have noticed in the games that I have been to, is that we don't have any leaders on the pitch. Players who may not be the most talented, but will put in 100% every time they put the shirt on. An old fashioned captain, a man's man, who leads by example. Someone who can put in a hard, but fair tackle and let the oppo know they're in a game. Encourage a youngster to keep his head up when he's struggling and is also not afraid to tell an experienced player when he's not pulling his weight. When I was a youngster, the spine of every team was made up of these type of players. Unfortunately, IMHO, they are a dying breed and the game will be worse for it.Comment

Also a follower since 1970, now in Australia. But you're quite right. Barton could have done that job this season.Comment

No but a lot of our precious flower fans didn't like his attitude or outspoken demeanour.
Didn't realise it was a popularity contest. Silly me.
