Paddy was brilliant for us but this seems like a desperate move from Warnock. Recently Paddy was supposed to be presented to the crowd at Loftus Rd but it was cancelled after a twitter backlash though official reason was that he was busy or something. Probably be here as backup to Smithies now if Warnock had got the job

Agree, it's the mentality of some that being a big name and earning £100k p/w and having the odd good game equates to us as a fanbase being privileged to have them at our club. No ones having a go at what he's up to now but a player who actually did well for us gets humiliated for trying to make a living as he hasn't set up a gold plated pension pot at our expense.
Lets forget and ridicule the players who were actually good and played well over a period of more than 20 mins and didnt result in us paying more in wages than income resulting in massive debt and turning us from a club generally well liked to a bit of a circus. These type of nonsense transfers summed up everything wrong in the modern game but don't matter he stopped a shot at Villa.

Id have major doubts whether he is still up to championship level, it seems he has only played 3 games in 2 years. Got no game time at Bolton, Ipswich or Bury (think he was doing Bury a favour by cancelling though)

Yea because as you can tell from my post, I slagged off Kenny completely there by not actually mentioning him. Great keeper in the champs and wasn't half bad in the prem when he came up. Shame about him slagging us off and all but I'll leave that to the side.

As for Cesar, how about the fact that we conceded only one goal between 2nd January and 2nd February in matches against Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, Man City and Norwich? We have his performances in those matches to thank (Along with Nelsen in particular against Spurs) for that run which could have kept us up if a few things had gone our way attacking wise.

Kiraly, the former(?) Palace keeper, singlehandly sent Norway out of the Euro-qualification against Hungary. Not sure how old Kiraly is, but he was really amazing that night.
