Boro have made a firm £6m offer. They are likely to return at least once more with an improved offer. To play a player who could get injured & scupper that deal would be daft on the clubs part. We already got stung fir £8m by gambling with Austin. We won't do that again.

The only way he'll play today is if the club have no interest in selling him, which I don't think is the case.
