Like many others I wouldn't mind seeing him in a 4-4-2, I think I would start with something similar to what we ended with at the NY, see how the match goes and bring him in off the bench! I agree with 77, Sandro could be such a key in the heart of the mf of a 4-4-2 but I have pretty much given up on him!

Would you start Washington on Saturday?

Been crying out for 4.4.2 for ages now. Think we've been fanny1ng about with different formations for too long now. Stop farking about and go back to basics with the 4.4.2 formation!!!.... also reckon Washington/Polter got the potential to be real force.

I just wish you were wrong as i refuse to go (never felt like this in all my years as an R's fan) until KH is no longer a first team regular! Watching him run about doing nothing, tackling no-one and passing backwards just makes me so frustratedoldhoop

Yea start him. Paid a few quid for him and given him the number 9 shirt, so why not. Might be the boost to the squad we need and bring a bit of atmosphere to the place.
Will be desperate to hit the ground running so his desire can hopefully spread throughout the team.
Given we are at home, would play him up top with PolterComment

Tough one. We finally win a game and then change the team? Bench for me then bring him on at half time/60 mins if we are playing poorly.Comment

Hell yeahUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

This. I'm a big advocate of 442, especially at home, but it would be madness to make any unforced chances to a side off the back of a 0-3 win.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

I have to actually agree, before I said I'd love Washington over Fer but we can't go around messing with the structure. Go with the rotherham side and then take off one of the midfielders for CW to see how a 442 looks."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. So you are actually saying keep that useless plank Henry in the side for another week even though no-one here (or outside JFH, LF & CR) can see why?oldhoop

Plenty saying don't change a winning side but we were absolutely shocking at Rotherham in the first half and if they scored first we'd have lost.
Did we really play well? Or did two quick goals kill a poor Rotherham side?
We hardly created chance after chance second half and it was a big improvement on the first half but turned into a scrappy game. 3-0 completely flattered us.
For me, Jimmy will think only one place is under threat, Leroy. Did he do enough at Rotherham overall? Or do you replace him with an inform new signing who is absolutely buzzing and has a great chance to get off the mark at the first time of asking? For me it's a no brainer, drop Leroy and play Conor off the BFG.Comment

Based on the last performance I wouldn't be upset if he stayed on the starters or got replaced by Sandro. As much as I think faurlin is a genius and a key player, I don't think he can play alongside Luongo."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Well, Leroy was statistically one of our best players at rotherham and got a great assist so I don't think he is hugely under threat relative to the rest of our side. I'd say if we do play 442 then yes he should go, but I wouldn't start with that.Plenty saying don't change a winning side but we were absolutely shocking at Rotherham in the first half and if they scored first we'd have lost.
