      Great news IMO..

Superb coach who has a great handling and understanding of youth players. No issues with me.

        Thread title amended.

Firstly, no need to perpetually insult the man.

Secondly, nothing confirmed - just paper talk.

To be fair he was brought in to coach the academy players and that is where he should have been left, so it makes sence to let him go back to what his original job was in the first place because everyone that knows him says what a good coach he is, he just wasnt a good manager.

            Hear, hear.

A brilliant one-to-one coach by all accounts. Just not cut out for overall management it seems.

So just a square peg in a round hole. No need to cane the bloke now. He genuinely had the clubs interest at heart. Unlike Hughes or Redknapp.........

sensible move by the club if true... decent coach, good track record developing young players, why pay up a big chunk (all?) of his contract when he can still do a job for us?
