Warnock wants Derry as No: 2!

This seems funny. Neil was appointed as an interim manager and he explained that he may be in the position for maybe one or two games. Now there's speculation that NW wants Derry to join him as his no 2! Now if he is here for a short period, why thus he wants an assistant? Is there's something to read between the lines?

According to the Daily Mail, Queens Park Rangers interim manager Neil Warnock is keen to bring in Shaun Derry as his second in command.

Derry is fondly thought of at Loftus Road, due to his impressive spell there as a player, and Warnock allegedly feels that the 37-year-old’s arrival could bring the feel-good factor back to the club.

QPR are looking to reshape their management team following the departure of Chris Ramsey.

At the moment Warnock has been placed in temporary charge, and there are suggestions that he could land the job on a permanent basis.

Regardless if the position is long term or short, he will still want to work with his own people and who he's comfortable with.

A job needs doing at the end of the day.

Happy with that, and results dependant wouldn't be unhappy for Warnock/Derry to get he job long term.

FEEL GOOD FACTOR, wasn't that what the DOF was meant to do appease the fans!!!! because we were on the slide under H.R. Never mind the feel good factor is Derry good enough, I think he may well be under Warnocks leadership, but lets not do it for feel good factor, lets do it because it's a good thing to do, and if like maybe it turns out right which I think it might? we'll all feel god about it anyway
