  • Barton-again

Said it many times before that why o why did we get rid without a like for like replacement ,,,

With him in the side yesterday I reckon we would have won ,,, that could actually be said of a few games this season ,,,

Burnley have him so it can't be about the money ,,,

He would have been worth it just for his passion and leadership skills,,,, something we are sadly lacking with Ned the donkey who couldn't lead a dog,,

We need players who want to fight for the badge and unfortunately I didn't see much of that last night,,,

With the clown in charge, the encouragement was not coming from the bench but at least with Barton on the pitch there would if nothing else have been some fight !!

Before we brought any new singings in at end of last season this is the man we should have tied up and in hindsight letting him go could be Ramsey's biggest mistake

Barton in team is like having a manger on pitch for 90mins. We keep saying we lack a leader well here was your man

    Big boots which remain unfilled

Same applies to Richard Dunne. Letting either of them go was poor business.

Barton didn't want to be here, so pointless talking about it really.

We didn't get rid, he wanted to go , he wanted the club to carry on spending big to go up and had a difference of opinion on how we were going to try and do it.

don't think anyone knows if and what he was offered , he's got a big gaff on the kew road so he may have stayed not wanting to uproot the family. or he may of just wanted a new challenge . fact is i think he would have done a job but he's gone so time to move on

No he wasn't offered a new contract, he didn't want to stay , he thought the club needed the same sort of policy to grow and move forward and after talking to the chairman and CEO decided to move on.

One player wouldn't have made the difference for us last night.....4 or 5 yeah, but not just one

Having a leader and fighter would have helped ... hopefully would have rubbed off on the other wasters out there (clint and one or two aside) ..

Not convinced. Didn't exactly make much difference last season and not exactly a stranger to the wayward pass
