What a day. I was only 12 or so but Christ I remember that well. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity. -

AGREED - When i look back on that squad, there were some great characters there and all grafted for the shirt. Seem to remember Furlong being absolutely slated when he first came here as well......12 years ater and not much has changed!Comment

I also remember us playing them a few years back, we had the best scoring record and they had the worst defensive record, we played 1 up front, surprise, surprise we scrapped a 1 - 1 draw,
we all moaned back then as well, when I asked Olly why we only played 1 up top he basically told me not to question his football judgement, even back then we were confused with managerial decisions,
nothing new now.Comment

So everyone playing one up top is clueless? Dont know the stats (Get on it Nasser), but would guess that 90% of teams on the major leagues play with 1 up front.I also remember us playing them a few years back, we had the best scoring record and they had the worst defensive record, we played 1 up front, surprise, surprise we scrapped a 1 - 1 draw,

Who mentioned clueless, what I said was there was discontent in the ranks even then.
Even though there was a togetherness on and off the pitch we didn't always agree with the managers thoughts.Comment
