Ben Watson because the lad is quality at this level.
I'd also look at taking Herman Hriedson when he is back to full fitness from Portsmouth.
I still think Kevin Phillips from Birmingham would be a decent addition.
It's pretty clear now that Beckford is going to hold out for a free transfer so no point in mentioning him. -

Sign Watson for £2.5 mil, go for Gary Hooper early on in the month for around £2mil. 500k left to spend on a left back but no one comes to mind right now for that price!!
