    Fitness

So many games last season we lost in the dying secs. Seems like same old story. Why are we clearly so unfit? Cherry should be fine to last 90 mins. Surely we need to Change our training methods and fitness coach. The amount of points we lose in the last 5 mins is becoming such a joke. My chesc um work mate mentioned it and he has a point albeit I gave him a copy of the league table pinned to our notice board
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Said similar over fitness levels when my Mrs asked "why is it always the same?"
I would like to see a really dynamic midfield (well whole team come to think of it) but it`s just not gonna happen.

No beer for the players during the season should be obligatory. Thats a start.

Lack of a decent pre season and preparation which is so important,we are just not fit.

It is scandalous that so called pros are not fit and is down to the coach manager or whatever he is called

Its actually down purely to the fitness coach, who's job it is to ensure the players are FIT. It's sort of there in the name when you look closely enough.

Actually I have been to harlington many times. Got to train under Steve Gallen once as well which was an experience and a half (back when we won the championship). Gone a bit since then and have gotten to see that they split the work between coaches, like they should at any good club. The first team coach (ramsey) is in charge of technical and tactical training. Everything else is led by the individual designated coaches. That includes fitness.

I agree with you WeAre. Also, it always seemed to me that the other team had more "jump" than us - just more energy and more running. It all points in the same direction and the buck stops with the playing squad boss - Chris Ramsey. If our fitness is not up to snuff then it is up to him to have the gonads to fire the person responsible and bring in somebody competent to do the job.

Simple solution is to try play to score goals for the full 90 minutes, trying to waste time fails 99% of the time.

Train under Gallen .........HHHHMMMMMMMMM,SO YOUR SAYING Ramsey has nothing to do with the fitness regime amazing we obviously need a new fitness coach then
as we have not been fit under Hughes,Redknapp and Ramsey.

So whats it like at Harlington do you need a pass there any sort of security etc, where is it situated in relation to the M4 and LHR.
