Barton is extremely effective at championship level - and it's clear that we missed him yesterday. We were completely inert in the middle.

But - the team does need time to gel. We've also got Fer for the season by the looks of it.

But, on a pay as you play basis - Barton would be an asset......... even if he is a self-important jumped up twonk........

makes no sense to me that people want Ramsey gone because he is a "youth team manager" - but want Joey Barton as a player manager.......his managerial experience consists of..... er...... Nothing!

He was good for us, but what he offered was mainly his workrate, covered a lot of ground. Passing, shooting and tackling was often poor. Time to move on from him.
