Look for original angles that others haven't already covered. Do we really need to read the millionth 'Ramsay is great/useless' post? Probably not, and Clive Whittingham will probably have already written the definitive piece. As someone above suggested, try getting an interview with a member of staff. Doesn't have to be TF or the new CEO –#a youth teamer about their time on loan, a half time pie-seller and ask them which away fans were the worst, that sort of thing. Or pick a really specific tactical point or aspect of going to see Rangers that you feel passionate about or that has been overlooked. Rant about that godawful Q-Block drummer.

Whatever you write about, make sure you get to the point early, keep it short, and have a really strong angle. No one wants to read a meandering think-piece on some random kid's blog - David McIntyre has earned the right to hold my attention through his piece along those lines, but that's because he's been doing this for years and knows more about the inner workings of Rangers than any other journo.

Whatever you do write lots. You'll be crap at first even if you don't realise it, but you'll soon improve. Good luck.

You're exactly right speaking about other angles. That's the reason I asked on here: to see what people might actually like to see.

Maybe cover everything what has been rumoured, happened at the club, and you still would have the weekends game to write about as well?

Only 16 mate. Just had it suggested to me to start writing. Would look great to be able to reference some work on a Uni application or even apprenticeships. Also, having constructive criticism from other Rs fans would be great. It would most likely be my career of choice so I'd like to have a base to start.

Ryan you need to get on it now, just get writing and choose a title for your work that you can post into.
Just write what you feel, dont even consider if something you write may not go down well as you can't please everyone, it's your views on how you may feel towards the club/ players etc.
As we all know what you are trying to do we can offer feedback on the articles you write, which you can either take on board or ignore for the next article.
