Apparently £1.75million upfront that could rise to £2million.
So basically we have spent the £1.2milion we received for Caulker loan, and parted with over £500,000 more for a player that nobody rates that well.

Don't trust the reviews of the Bolton Fans as they are saying he is total dog poo, yet still managed to be there player of the year for the last 2 seasons.

Seriously, anyone that has seen him play before, is this a good or bad signing?
Or should we have just kept Caulker?

Wages will be a lot lower than Caulkers as well.

Van, Caulkers not injured as he has a bad sinus infection that saw him hospitalised for 2 days!!!
            That's true as well.

Koeman said .. "We have Steven Caulker, he has an infection in the sinus. He was in hospital for two days, he's not in the physical state to be involved at the weekend but we hope that he will be available next Thursday [against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League

Totally True as well, I didn't believe it at first but Caulker was hit with a sinus infection that put him in Hospital for 2 days!!
I wake up with a sinus problem most mornings, and had a really bad one when I celebrated the night Caulker departed as well.

If you listened to some comments about Austin on QPR boards you would be disappointed about signing him before he had even played. Willing to give any player a chance and make my own mind up about him.

Financially it does make sense as if you take the Caulker money we got him for £500k and we still own Caulker and either get him back or a transfer fee for him. I don't know enough about the deal to know who is paying what % of his wages during the loan though.

They are paying all his wages apparently.

Doesn't sound like this is near a done deal yet. Maybe Fulham have offered more wages?

WANDERERS’ plans to bring in two new players have been scuppered after Tim Ream’s move to QPR has hit a late snag.

                              Late problems?

I'm hearing he has chosen Foolham - don't shoot the messenger - oh well, on to the next target. Ramsey did say we haven't got all of our eggs in one basket blah blah
