Of course we would, Bakes. But, assuming we do (big assumption), we have two other windows to make improvements. For between now and January we need two strikers in this window. One if JET can play up front, but I've been told he can't. Certainly, because he looks like a basketball player, he doesn't look like he could play up front in 4231 or 433.

Yeh. And hopefully that Kpekawa can do the biz at LB or CB.Originally posted by Rangers77 View PostOf course we would, Bakes. Agree. People saying Perch should of closed Watt down is not that clear cut. Half decent strikers get shots off for a reason, usually cos they're quite good. Tony Watt has scored against Barcelona in the Champions League, he's not a bad player.Originally posted by James1979 View PostI thought he did ok. It was green's fault for the crucial 1st goal.
Green getting beat at his near post was criminal. First game, first gaff. Not surprised.

Basic rules of defending as a RB though - force the forward down the channels rather than inside the box.Originally posted by Jimmy Rabbit View PostAgree. People saying Perch should of closed Watt down is not that clear cut.
I'll give Perch more time before I single him out for abuse but that was not a great 2nd half.
As for Green - should have saved that first goal, not sure about the second though.
