A few irons in the fire on the striker front.

            Probably not till January though

beckford will be free in the summer, this jan will be the last chance leeds get to £££££££££££ in...unless he re-signs.
i am told beckford is a west london lad and would snap at signing for us.
offer £1m and agy, mahon, borrowdale ( yes even the messiah has a lifetime expectancy)

Maybe 'Irons' is a clue to the team?

Scunny are the Irons. So maybe Hooper?

Or it could be an 'Iron' from Brighton? Nicky Forster? : )

                          Agree Rangered.

The good thing about Paladini is once he gets knocked back for a player it tends to spur him on - here's hoping anyway...

Guess a lot of this will depend on possible takeovers and the resulting budget.

Why has it taken so long to find a class striker, they knew blackstock was going last season.

Here we are still missing easy chances relying on a youngster from Arsenal, who has done well to get 3 goals, but he cant be expected do it by himself.

Once again talk is about the next transfer window, just like this time last year.

The other point to remember is how are we going to keep the likes of Connolly, Leigertwood, Gorkks, Buzsaky, Routledge, Cook and Watson happy if we dont show enough ambition in signing a top class striker? Many of those players are approaching their career peaks and will want to see the club showing serious intent in matching their own ambitions.

You cant assume they'll be happy to keep putting it off until the following season.

                              A footballer's career is a short one.
