it is in our situation and CR as vital as it gets I think a good start and we will grow from there also if CA stays he may thinkwe might get out and back to prem

For the fans point of view a good start keep loftus rd rocking while the sun still shines as soon as autum comes and no wins the place will be like a morgue

I'd be happy with 6 points, but am expecting either 1 or 3 unless we fill those defensive slots.

I really fear for the early season form...
I agree, but my guess is that Caulker was agitating for a move and they felt it was better to loan him than have a discontented player in the dressing room.

A good start is always good, can't argue with that, but as others have pointed out, it's far from essential. If only Rangers fans could show some patience! Maybe there should be a talk before the start of the first home game, where CR and LF explain the process and for fans to stick with the team while it goes through its reformation. Or then again, maybe not!

If we are bottom with no points after 10 games it's fine

This division's weird. Remember Palace being in relegation area at Christmas and then in play-offs in May. I think main thing is not to panic OR get carried away at any point as 46 games/138 points to use gives a huge margin to play with..... a team can drop 50 points and go up as Champs. Could also drop virtually half of the points on offer and still scrape in play-offs. Clearly, no point in getting too bogged down over individual games and we need to keep focussed on bigger picture. A flying start is great but it's not be all and end all.

i think if we can start the same way we did when warnock was in charge we could be in for a great season
