Naturally we won't know until we know re sales and transfers. Yet assuming, as we must, that Charlie Austin will be moving to a PL club, and that Caulker is now likely to do the same on loan, here are my three "must players" if we're to have a competitive season:
Matty Phillips -- ready to become one of the premier Championship players -- speed, shot, and spark.
Leroy Fer -- teamed up with teammate Chery, who looks like an awesome addition, and properly positioned, Fer set to find his groove.
Rob Green -- unsung hero backstopping an unbelievably bad defensive line last year -- losing him this year would border on the disastrous.
Add to these three stalwarts another two to three defensive prospects, and a speedy goal scorer to complement Mackie and JET, with an already solid looking midfield, and maybe, just maybe, this season becomes a march back to the PL.
