Goal wide no but I imagine the theory behind the signing would be to be a target man like zamora was I guess. Would imagine ramsey would want a nippy little finisher to play up with him.

I think Cole and gayle would be a very effective partnership in the championship.

Emanuelle-Thomas has been played as a winger in the past but he looks like a centre forward from what I've seen!

I'd take him so long as wages weren't stupid. Think what Ive read of him is that he's not a bad sort. Would be a handful for Championship defenders and can hold the ball up.

there nothing worse than a player who only gets 4 goals season after playing 40 games we had that with zamora he may be free but bis he a liabillity

just tweeted is close to making a decision where to play next year.

Will divide opinion on this one but I would love him to join us for a season or two.

Think he'd be very useful and handy in the chpionship. Would bully defenders and score goals and available on a free.

Great signing for any championship team if he drops a division.

I haven't seen any clubs linked him. He can do the job for us and don't mind if he sighs,but only 1 year deal

As long as its a cheap deal Maids then I agree. Polter (Big, mobile and fairly young), Cole (big, target man, physical, experienced) JET (Big, skillful, pleasing on the eye) and a pacy striker (gray or afobe etc) and we have some decent options there. Throw in Mackie and grego cox and we have players who can fill in if we have problems (injuries, suspensions etc)

I think he could certainly do a useful job for us. Part of the issue might be that we have a good striker in Austin currently who will be leaving and maybe people want a major signing for big money to replace him. So far we have signed Mackie, JET and Polter who again can do a job but maybe not the main striker role playing every game.

Once Charlie's decision is made we may know what money we have.
