Matt Philips playing as a striker

Seems strange that despite reported interest from P/l clubs that a valuation has not been set by our club on Matt Philips similar to the statement issued on Charlie and his transfer fee.I hope that it could mean we are determined to keep Matt Philips as he could go on and improve further this year with his renewed confidence that the manager C Ramsey has instilled in him.
Matt Philips is over 6ft and could play upfront in a striker role,Wheeler dealer thought he could and so do I.

Nope, needs to settle in one position for a while, we have no other wide men, no price has been put on Fer either, I think we will keep all, even CA, well here's hoping.

Don't see him as a striker myself but I have been wrong before and I will be again.

An excellent crosser of the ball who has shown he isn't the best finisher, yep play him as a striker! He's leaving anyway.

While he could make a decent striker, think his key attribute in crossing would be a bit wasted in the middle.
