    JET

I was down in Weston Super Mare this weekend watching a SKA band at a pub which happened to be full with Bristol City fans. Me and my old man got chatting to a fair few of them and mentioned we were QPR. We got onto the subject of us signing JET and the overall response was positive from them and they mentioned he would get a good reception on his return to Ashton Gate when we play them.

Apparently JET is the sort of player who doesn't do much in terms of work rate and it looks like he just strolls around on the pitch a majority of the time. However once the ball is at his feet he is, and I quote "untouchable". I know how impatient the Loftus Road faithful can be in regards to players work rate, how would we react to this should it be true? Apparently a lot of Bristol City fans used to get frustrated and slate him during the game, but then he would end up doing something out of nothing and make them eat their words.

Standard recruitment for us then... He will fit in quite nicely. We moan at most players until they bang a goal in etc.

If he brings some much needed excitement ,thats good for me , even though its frustrating having players like him , weve missed a lot of entertainment in the last couple of seasons .
( saying that watch me coat him off for being a lazy s od ,when hes not scoring !)

If he either creates goals or scores them like Adel did in the championship year no one will care as we love a maverick but he has to have some end product. However if he dosnt do either of these then people will want to see more work rate otherwise he won't offer much to the team. So it's up to him
One for all.... and all for one

During his time at Arsenal he never seemed to put a shift in. I never really saw what he did at Bristol City apart from scoring a cracker of a goal against Bristol Rovers.

Does everyone remember Austin's first games for us? I remember one game against Ipswich where he missed 3 or 4 chances before Hitchcock saved us.

We need to try and have patience but obviously not every fan is on here. I really hope he gets a fair crack of the whip with fans.

I''ve seen enough workhorses down the r's these last few years, just one piece of magic justifies the admission price for me

He is just a laid back player, who can probably produce a bit off magic to turn a game on its head,, but we will see

Great player to have in the team. We have lacked creativity in midfield for ages bar Phillips so to have someone again who has the ability to open up other teams is priceless.
It's down to Ramsey to utilise him in the right way. Play him in the games we can have a player like jet on the pitch for 70-90 mins and the ones where maybe he's the type you chuck on for for the last 20-30.

The Burnley fans gave absolutely the same assessment regarding Charlie.... huffs and puffs without making much impact but then pops up and scores. Frankly, all an attacking player has to do is score every other game and I'll be ecstatic. Ultimately we're never gonna see an Arguero or Suarez up front so even if JET looks a bit languid or lazy I wont actually care if he contributes goals.
