    Our plans

I'm a bit confused atm. Our new policy of giving our youth a chance and buying young good prospects from the lower divisions looks as its the only way forward. However, if rumours are to be believed, a host of Premier clubs are after the young prospects that we managed to sign during the past two seasons. The likes of Austin, Phillips, Caulker, Fer are all being mentioned of joining other clubs. It means that we will have released FIFTEEN players from last season. So far, we only managed to sign four! Ok, maybe some of the names I mentioned are still only 'rumours,' however, if this is to happen, we will struggle. We did made some good signings so far and I believe we have some promising youngsters as well....however, this season will be one hell of a struggle if we do not keep our core of the team in place. The club should make it clear what players they want to retain and those that are free to leave.

The club would have told all the players that they have not let go, they are wanted. . But it is a case of do those players want us back. As much as the club wants to get business done there is only so much they can do.

what I noticed is that everyone who we been rumoured to sell the price haven't dropped and at the moment seems that we won't drop our prices if people don't pay then they will remain with us till at least jan would be interesting to see were we are with these 4 in our squad come jan they may stick around if we are doing well

Players contracts usually end at the end of June. No one wants to sign a lot of players before that as they pay them a months wages for going on holiday! Expect buying and selling to really get underway once we get into July.
