Good manager and decent players they will go far.

Having been at Real Madrid and having good experience is probably a good incentive for the player, all we have is a youth team coach with an awful record.

I know which club I'd sign for.

Derby have a woeful defence. that's always been their problem bar being bottlers.. Midfield is creative and hard working but if a selective few are cherrypicked they will struggle to feed the front men. Martin was handled by an ageing Richard Dunne lets not forget. Bent is a finisher but can be stopped. Weimann is too good for this level.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
          Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Top quality signing by Derby - they mean business and fair play to them.

The lad is right up there with phillips as one of the best players in this league. If we keep phillips it won't bother me to much.

Still top player for any team in this league and for just 2 mill.

Good player, and Derby look like they have a good squad now.
Give it a few weeks and Clement will go back to Madrid and get a few youngsters as well.
Good luck to them, but willing to bet they still don't make automatic promotion this season!!

100% fordy. If they keep their match winners fit the league is there for the taking. Though if we keep fer, caulker, Phillips and buy two decent strikers we will be right up there too but that's me being very optimistic lol

Where as i can see the sense in buying him and at that price ( i also think he will do well in the championship) i think it depends on how we set up, if Ramsey plays 3 up front then we have in players like Mackie and Phillips a Weiman type player, so i can sort of understand why we may be looking else where. I don't think you would play him up front through the middle he is more suited to that wider role, think qpr will play that system as we seem to be after a number 9 type front man , the lad from Ipswich or Brentford being the type.
