I havent seen him so what I've been told he's like Jay Bothroyd a lazy player that does'nt get stuck in or puts himself about and waits for the ball to come to him can anybody say is it true ?

Do you think if these 3 were sold and we netted 25-30 million we wouldn't buy some quality???

We'll see. So far I'm happy with our transfers.

Saw him playing for Cardiff and I wasn't impressed. Saying all that, he did have pace and I'd rather see that as we've been starved for that for a v long time. I will support him and there isn't much difference between championship and league 1 so that Bristol city form is promising.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I saw him play for Cardiff against us and I thought he looked lively and dangerous.
Won't be our main striker and was on a free on sensible wages, there shouldn't be one iota of negativity, club should be applauded IMO.

Like the cut of his gib from the goal highlights. Doesn't look like we'll need any wingers though.

A few comments from a BCFC forum..

QPR fans reacting like they've signed Messi. Like to see their reactions two months in.

QPR building a decent league 1 side there!!

Get rid of Taraabt & sign poor mans Taraabt in his place

Ridiculous signing for them, he will be benched at best

Charlie Austin on his way out, JET in. QPR are on a bit of a downward trajectory. Not sure where he'll fit in there other than on the bench.

A lot of fans tend to be a bit bitter when they lose a good player. I mean I have seen our own fans on here and other sites slate Charlie because he's leaving and apparently isn't good enough to grace certain teams.

I saw him paly a few times at Arsenal in league cup and the geezer has bags of potential. Think this has the potential to either direction great signing or disaster suppose depends on the start he gets

I have to say im more excited by this then the Swindon lads

As for people moaning come on gents how many haver you moaned about QPR going back to basics and doing things like they used too??? I am afraid picking up free transfers and developing players that we have is the real QPR. sounds like the club is dammed if the do and dammed if the don't they cant win and too many on here cant make their minds up as to what they want.

Do you want to be the flash harry spending big and failing or making astute signings and taking the odd risk

HMMM not that optimistic but I'll give him a chance. Now that he's back in London I can see him spending more energy going out and partying than training.....
