I think it wasn't Ramsey's decisions to release Barton. They seems to get on well and spoke highly each other, but i believe it was DoF's decision

Always thought he was useless...would be a step backwards in the midfield IMO. I'd even prefer to see Tom Carrol turn up than Darren Pratley.

Having said that - I always though Henry was poor but he turned out ok.

Pratley is a good player, should have stayed at Swansea all those years ago, didn't realise he was so young, I would rather us spend time on the basket case that is Samba.

No way should we have kept Barton, if CR wasn't instrumental in his departure then he isn't the right man to move this club forward, saying in public what a great character Barton is, is one thing, but privately I hope he was saying to Les and TF, get rid of this poisonous ####!
