Oh, that's disappointing. If you have time you might try searching "youtube john oliver fifa" to see if you can get a copy that is accessible in the U.K.

I'll predict right now, Blatter will be charged with something. The "Dirty 14" are singing like birds right now trying to get their sentences reduced, they're lining up to throw Blatter under the bus. There's no other reason to explain the sudden change where he was so smug on Friday and now he's resigned and left with hardly a whimper. The FIFA attorneys have finally gotten through to him what a world of shite he's in.

Here's the official 164 page indictment (pdf file)......seedy stuff.

That is hilarious....unfortunately and sadly, it's all true. Didn't realize it all started with Blazer not filing a tax return. Damn, that's dumb. In this country, everyone knows that screwing the IRS out of their wedge of cash gets you into more trouble than crossing swords with the FBI.

####s ain't stupid too. They know their is a realistic chance there will be a re vote on 2018 and 2022 now. Worth millions to them and would rather annoy the Russians.
Glad blotters gone though he's a absolute disgrace. Hope David Gill gets nominated or plays a massive part in Fifa moving forward.
Really should be more English involvement at the top of football considering we are the home of it.

From crooked politicians in the prohibition days of the 1930's to the mafia to drug gangs to white collar crime. They infiltrate the gang, sometimes for years, collect a ton of evidence, then go to court. They rarely lose. In this case, CONCACAF head Chuck Blazer agreed to be their plant. Think of the dirt he was able to gather.

Chuck Blazer went from suburban New York kiddie coach to flying on private jets with soccer’s global elite. Now he’s the Mr. Big of informants.
