    Potential Transfer Targets

Would like to update this list regularly, you can leave your suggestions too. Mainly focused on

    1. Players in their early-twenties
    2. Players who won't command a fee above 5-6m as I don't think we'll be paying more than that on any new transfer
    3. Players whose wages aren't over 20k/w (Dwight Gayle is on 17k/w)

    GK

    1. Ben Amos - Man United - [6'4", 25 Y]- Free agent
    2. Damian Martinez - Arsenal - [6'3", 22 Y]- Free agent - Looked good in the CL game against Borussia Dortmund

    CB

    1. Michael Hector - Reading - [6'4", 22 Y] - Was phenomenal against Arsenal
    2. Connor Goldson - Shrewsbury - [6'3", 22 Y] - Very highly rated and was in League Two TOTY
    3. James Tarkowski - Brentford - [6'1", 22] - Has had a very good season.
    4. Lewis Dunk - Brighton - [6'4", 23 Y] - A solid defender but too slow for my liking
    5. Joe Gomez - Charlton - [6'2", 18 Y] - Hove Ranger

    FB

    1. Zeki Fryers - C. Palace - [6'0", 22 Y] - Don't think Palace need him as they bought a new LB
    2. Ashley Richards - Swansea - [5'9", 24 Y] - Wants to leave Swansea for regular football
    3. Reece James - Man United - [5'11.5", 21 Y] - On loan or perhaps permanent as I don't think they need another LB
    4. Saidy Janko - Man United - [5'10", 19 Y] - On loan or perhaps permanent? Had a good loan spell at Bolton
    5. Nathan Ake - Chelsea - [5'11', 20 Y] - On loan? Heard from Reading fans he was good

    [ New - FB]
    1. Matthew Lowton - Aston Villa - [5'11", 25 Y] - He has fallen out of favor under Sherwood (Lambert too). Decent at defending, good going forward and has a wicked right foot.

    MF

    1. Conor Hourihane - Barnsley - [5'11", 24 Y] - 13 Goals and 15 Assists this season
    2. Yaser Kasim - Swindon - [5'11", 24 Y] - A classy midfielder based on the 3 games I have watched
    3. Luke Freeman - Bristol City - [5'8", 23 Y] - A canny little player but I think with Lugano signed, he isn't needed although I'd have preferred him.
    4. Joao Teixeira - Liverpool - [5'10", 22 Y] - On loan? Was Brighton's best player this season

    Wingers

    1. Michail Antonio - Nottingham Forest - [5'11", 25 Y] - Was like a beast this season
    2. Tom Lawrence - Leicester - [5'9", 21 Y] - On loan? Got his Man United debut last season

    [ New - Wingers]
    1. Andreas Weimann - Aston Villa - [6'2", 24 Y] - He has fallen out of favor under Sherwood.
    2. Nathan Dyer - Swansea - [5'7", 27 Y] - A bit older but has good pace and trickery who can also chip in goals. Scored 2 goals at Wembley in the cup final last year. Doesn't feature at all under Monk, so could possibly move. He is also on decent wages.

    ST

    1. Nick Powell - Man United - [6'0" , 21 Y] - Will probably sell him and he was prolific for Wigan last time he played in the Championship
    2. Dwight Gayle - C. Palace - [5'10", 24 Y] - Looks like Bournemouth are also interested
    3. Odion Ighalo or Matej Vydra - Watford - They will probably get rid one as they are poised to sign Rudy Gestede and Troy Deeney is their captain.
    4. Dominic Solanke - Chelsea - [5'11", 18 Y] - On loan? Scored over 40 goals for the reserve team
    5. Chuba Akpom - Arsenal - [6'0", 19 Y] - On loan? Had a short loan spell at Forest

    [ New - ST ]
    1. Gary Hooper - Norwich - [5'9" , 27 Y] - Was actually good when he played for Celtic. Didn't play much at Norwich and if my memory doesn't betray, Harry also wanted to sign him.

    Outside England

Unlike the above mentioned players, haven't seen these lot live and opinion purely based on YouTube and League statistics

    Scotland
    1. John Souttar and Nadir Ciftci - Dundee United - [6'1", 18 Y and 6'1", 23 Y]

    Germany
    1. Pascal Groß - FC Ingolstadt 04 - [5'11", 24 Y] - [CAM] - 7 goals and 23 assists (highest assists in Bundesliga 2 (Championship))
    2. Rouwen Hennings - Karlsruher SC - [5'11", 26 Y] - [ST] - Highest goal scorer in Bundesliga 2

    Spain
    1. Sergio Araujo - Las Palmas - [5'11", 23 Y] - [ST] - 3rd highest goal scorer in Spanish Segunda Division (Championship) with only 1 penalty (others have more). Aguero type player.

    France
    1. Karl Toko Ekambi - FC Sochaux - [6'0", 22 Y] - [ST] - 3rd highest goal scorer in French League 2 (Championship).

    [ New - France]
    1. Mickael Le Bihan - Havre Athletic - [6'0", 25 Y] - [ST] - Highest goal scorer in French League 2 (Championship).

    Italy
    1. Vittorio Parigini - Perugia - [5'11", 19 Y] - [ST] One of the biggest stars in Italian Serie B (Championship) and already linked with Juventus.

    Norway
    1. Mohamed Elyounoussi - Molde - [5'10", 19 Y] - [ST] - Think he will move to a bigger club soon

Unrealistic Targets (that I didn't consider)

    1. Jordan Rhodes - Blackburn - Is already on 42k/w and would command a fee of 10m+
    2. Joshua King - Blackburn - New 20+k/w contract has been offered which he hasn't signed yet. Also like Sturridge misses out a lot of game (58 games in 3 season for Blackburn) due to hamstring injury. (EDIT: signed for Bournemouth)
    3. Demarai Gray - Birmingham - Turned down a 5+m offer from Bournemouth, can't see us paying that much money on potential.
    4. Sam Byram - Leeds - Leeds value him at 10m and might end up at Southampton.
    5. Youssouf Mulumbu - West Brom - Free agent - Was on 35k/w. Now sure if we are willing pay such high wages now.
    6. Kenwyne Jones - Cardiff City - Was on 40+ k/w (37k basic wages + 5k appearance + ?k for each goal). And although he bullies defenders, he's never prolific. He'll be 31 soon too.

Dunk is a very solid defender but a bit slow and that's my only concern. Powell's only problem is his attitude otherwise the kid is quality and he is only 21.

I have a name to add to the list:

Joe Gomez (18, 6'2", CB, Charlton) Capped at England under 19s and played 21 games in the championship last season at 17. Big future

Added although being honest, I haven't seen him play personally.

                    Put together a list yesterday - http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/f...-Transfer-List

My personal favourites from the list:

Mulumbu - West Brom - available on a free
Loftus Cheek - Chelsea - probably have to be a loan
Josh King & Marcus Olsson - Blackburn - Both on a free. Pacy left Back and winger/striker - we desperately need pace
James McClean - Winger again with pace and eye for goal
                    Michel Antonio - See above
Alex Mowatt & Sam Byram - Leeds - Particularly Byram - great RB
Andre Gray - Brentford - Pacy striker with eye for goal
Demari Gray - Birmingham - turned down 5M from bournemout in Jan - amazing prospect

Josh king and Antonio would be great additions and would add much needed competition and pace on the wings.

Bryam and the Birmingham gray we have no chance what so ever. Wouldn't mind gray from Brentford.

We got two good championship level lb's in yun and Robinson imo.

Would love to see us test wolves resolve levels for afobe, looked such a top prospect last year.

Isnt Robinson out for 12 months though maids? Might be worth getting a LB in.
