I still think it was/is Clement but for some reason he couldn't commit yet and Tf feared if Ramsey went to Villa to join Sherwood we would be left without a Manager and then enticing one willing to work within the FFP embargo if it happens. I would feel a bit more excited if Clement was coming in even though he too lacks experience as the last few games have left me in doubt about Ramsey and how he will cope next season.
