This doesn't surprise me today. McCarthy is short of first team appearances and clearly rusty and we have 4 or 5 who won't be in the squid next year.
Let's just try not to over react to McCarthy or cox. They need a bit of confidence building. Very hard to come into a form and play well in a losing team.
