Yep, definitely was aimed at someone specific. And it was definitely chest thumping and heart symbols rather than anger.

There is love for Barton because of his passion (but often little end result) and then you have fer (who was injured for 10 weeks) who has scored 6 and shows passion when he scores..

Can't see us holding on to him, contract or not I think he will be off which is a shame. Today's goal aside he is a top player.

Fer is one of those players you don't see often. He is physically imposing and can win plenty in the air and hold of challenges on the ground, while being incredibly agile and quick with his feet. I'd like to think he is the ideal placement in the prebuilt Zamora role, only with added 2010/11 Taarabt

Just something to note here, he actually attempted 9 tackles and succeeded with 7, the second most attempted behind barton who had 15 attempts on the pitch today and barton only was successful with 5 of those. Aerially he went up for 7 duels and won 4 of them so I wouldn't say he was particularly lazy and from my perspective on the ground, he seemed like he was still getting to full fitness. Hope we hold on to him because he is a talent and a half alongside phillips.

Just seen it on MOTD...I honestly think he said "You want me to stay?" while pointing, then made the heart sign and said " Im gonna stay".....I could be wrong
