bad eggs!!!!

I like joey, but how many times he been a bad egg for this club. A silly sending off against hull not to mention others, he ain't got room to shout IMO

Out of all the players over the last few weeks imo Barton's been the stand out player (admittedly not the hardest thing to be a stand out player at qpr) who seemed to be trying the hardest, and has showed that he has been trying/giving 100%, but again what lets him down is his mouth.... Bad decision especially as club captain to come out and make it so publicly clear there are bad eggs with in the team, when there was still the smallest of slithers of hope that we could do the great escape. All he's done is stir the $hit and caused tension in the dressing room. Obviously doesnt matter now but should've waited until there was a big R next to our name in the league table before $hit stirring the team.

To be fair, none of them were in the team for City and none were likely to play again (if you go by the five named)

If they were such a distraction to the 1st team particularly taraabt, traore and zarate they should have been banished to the reserves or just away from the 1st team to allow them to concentrate on playing. The players playing week in week out need to take some responsibility for this season

If they were such a distraction and obviously weren't going to play (because they are never selected) then they should have been removed from the 1st team scenario to allow the 1st team to focus. I wont deny that they are wronguns but measures should have been taken to ensure our focus was on avoiding relegation and if that involved banishing, demoting or even releasing the players then so be it. To come out at the end of the season and say the main reason we were relegated was because of 5 players, 4 of which hardly played seems a bit of a cop out to me. Add to that the fact 2 of them have been on our books a while so the club were aware of their characters and even gave traore a new contract last year. My point is that either they were a massive distraction and should have been dealt with by the club much earlier in the season to ensure the 1st teams focus or they are being made the scapegoats like the 2012/13 french africans when clearly there is a general problem with the culture/dressing room/atmosphere behind the scenes that hasnt been addressed since the board took over.

The point I was making is that you dont need to be in the starting 11 to have a negative impact on the team..... I do agree with your post though.

Not defending any of the 'bad eggs' one bit as I would be fuming if I was putting a shift in and others wern't on the training field, but it makes you realise why English players and football apart from the foreigners is cr*p. Players who try hard and fly into tackles are heroes, but the flair players who have more ability in their little toe then the likes of Barton are hung out to dry as they won't do pointless running on the training field.

Exactly. Maybe it's coming from years of lower league football, but some of our fans want 11 Shaun Derrys and a side that plays like Wimbledon in the 80s.

Need change at every level, blaming players is just pathetic.

It is a disgrace, seemed like a good kid as well. Such a shame. Only positive is the reaction of the club to keep it quiet for as long as they did and deal with it correctly.
