    How about Jimmy Floyd?

Not doing a bad job, great playing career, and learning the job the right way.

He has got his managerial career off to a good start, but League 2 and the Premiership are very different.

If we go for Hasselbaink, then i would make sense to go for Ainsworth. He's doing great at Wycombe, has couple of years more experience than Hasselbaink and he's a Rangers man,but we all know that we won't go for either of them

Gary Nevelle would be good, as horrible as it sounds, two seasons in the championship building the club in the right way might be what's needed.

If we could rebuild and stay in the prem then we would all settle for that but the next appointment has to be with the longterm in mind!

Gary or Phil both seem to have a good insight of how the game should be run and played must have studied S A F closely , as you say 2=3 in the championship to rebuild from bottom up could be time well spent
