What i would say re all of the above is that our improved performances could not have come at a better time.
If any potential investor has been having doubts, maybe they will have looked at the last 3-4 performances and eliminated all doubts.
It is imperative that the fans stick behind the team, particularly at home against the smaller clubs. That is where our destiny will be decided.Comment

I should have thought Vijay Mallya would be a fair punt. But he does like to talk up worlkwide domination for all his business interests so who knows. He has put his interest in the R's on record in the past. There is, of course, the F1 connection with Bernie and Flav (from Force India) to add fuel to the conspiracy theories and he and Laks certainly move in the same circles. He most definitely flagged an interest in his Kingfisher brand being Rangers' shirt sponsors so possibly.... If you like the Yacht theory, I think he owns Elizabeths Taylor's (though I'm sure not because ot was second hand and cheap - I think he and the Mottals could probably have a resonable argument about whio could buy the bigger country).
Personally, I doubt all this but it seems common sense that Flavio would be after selling out pretty quick (as if he is forced by the League he will have less chance of getting his money out). He'll be trying all his contacvts I'm sure and Mallya will be in amongst those.Comment

i dont care if hes arabic, asian or comes from the moon,if he loves the rangers then lets bring him in to the club,as long as he dosnt send 72 text messages every game to tell the manager who to play

Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GOComment

Is the FA's meeting about Fat Flav today?? If so we could have a pretty good idea what might happen this afternoon........2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!

Whilst Briatore has made some errors and upset man fans, he did save the club from bankruptcy and brought in new investors.
So if he does sell-up, I will always appreciate his contribution to the future of this club.Comment

I agree with Stan about Flavio. People are so black and white on these forums. He has been great in some respects, infuriating in others.
As for the badge, the new one is ok, the old one is ok, I am not bothered because for me it is the football that matters.Comment

just hope there is somebody to buy the shares when briatore rightly gets his orange a.rse kicked out of football once and for all maybe he can go back to selling clothesGerry Francis the greatest all round player to come from these shores:super_man:Comment

NO matter what he has done, or what people's opinions of him are now, what cannot be denied is that he's done us numerous favours....
Not only stepping in in the first place and saving us from possibly going under, but attracting the massive profile investors who will remain after he's gone to take us forward, bringing in and securing falsely inflated sponsorship deals compared to our status, raising the profile of the club across Europe, improving the stadium and of course financing a complete overhaul of the squad etc etc.....
Yes he's made mistakes and maybe interferred too much and of course instigated ticket hikes, but look at the club now compared to when he took over. That is what matters to me and being totally frank, i couldn't give two hoots about what he's done in F1, or the fact he'll fall because of it, he has turned the fortunes of our club around completely and i for one salute him for that....Comment
