Was this 'info' by barton a tweet?...if so why aren't the twitter police out in force to the same degree as they were for other recent tweets?

I'm not in the know but I am pyschic. CR will be given the role of caretaker manager until the end of season and the cub will continue to speak to potential candidates to take over depending what division we end up in. The club has not said CR will definitely not be considered for next year.

CR deserves the opportunity which is a risk but a good call by TF. Respect him for not allowing Tim Sherwood to pull his pants down again and standing firm. CR will be happy for being given the opportunity of a lifetime in managing a premiership team with no management experience. He also is in a win win situation. If we go down the media will say it was a massive ask and one that even Redknapp did not fancy. If we stay up he is an absolute miracle worker. The truth is the players are the only ones that are gonna get us out of this mess and it is all about keeping them motivated and hungry to succeed.

Feel the club have made the right decision and can't see what all the fuss is about.

You don't hand caretaker manager's two year contracts. Also Warnock was appointed manager on 27th August, 13 days after Pulis resigned. Keith Millen was caretaker manager, not Warnock.

That is bang on mate, everything you say there is true.

I'm confident Ramsey will save us, what we need to ensure though is if we bring a new man in the summer Ramsey is kept in the setup.

What if dream manager=CR? Obvious answer to this debacle IMO.

Glad to hear that Ramsey will be in charge until the end of the season. There's no guarantee that we will stay up, but Ramsey has given us reason to be hopeful, and that's more than we've gotten from our manager(s) in a long time.

Sherwood and Laudrup seem disinterested anyway. Ramsey it must be. If he can keep us up, he would deserve a contract.

He said it himself Matty with his own mouth, live on Talksport when he was interviewed by Brazil. Believe it or not makes no odds to me

Can't understand how we can turn our first away win and Cris Ramseys "appointment" into lousy debates in two of the longest threads in here.
Anyway ti will be fun to see how Sherwood does with Villa in the Championship next season while Ramseys QPR are sailing comfortably in the premier.

To be honest dont really have problem with it ,with him or with somebody else were still favourites to go down/ no new manager will want to come with the threat of being relegated, other than Sherwood who seems desperate to get a job for his Ego so probably best to wait, and if Les and Ramsey can steer us clea all well and good, and appoint early in the summer to give someone a chance to build their own team/
