    Austin only out 1-2 Weeks

    Via espn fc

QPR striker Charlie Austin is set to miss just one match after limping away from Loftus Road on crutches after their 1-0 defeat to Southampton on Saturday.

A long-term injury to their 13-goal top scorer would have been disastrous for the west Londoners in their bid to survive in the Premier League.

However, a statement released on the club's official Twitter account on Sunday morning read: "@chazaustin9 has suffered bruising to his right foot and will miss Tuesday's trip to @SunderlandAFC. Nothing too serious £QPR.''

    Great news!

Great news, but it just highlights how daft it was to not sign Defoe 3 weeks ago when he was training at Spurs.

Wish I could be as confident about these away games. Defoe is bound to score against the side he came close to signing for in August.

We just dodged a bullet there. Will we be able to dodge the next one?

Cannot come back sooner enough. Wonder if Woy will call him up for next months friendly?

I doubt very much Roy will pick him. Kane Carroll Walcott welbeck Rooney berrahino all in front of him. He's not an England player imo.
