  • Harrys departure is there skullduggery

This is not about HRs failings or otherwise
there seem to be underhand dealings at the heart of his so called resgnation , ### Ferdinand given control of transrer window dealings What transfer dealings just one fiasco involving WHU what was the point of giving LF control of nothing as Uncle Tone said there will be no deals only loans , if ### was deemed good enough to organize loans he didnt come up smelling of roses did he ? it leaves the question why didnt TF just sack Harry on the 1st of january to give us a chance in the transfer window ,.
Is uncle Tone the fans buddy ?
can sir be trusted should anybody invovled at QPR be worried about turning their back on ###
are we heading for an ex Spurs mafia

Who is ###? Are you insinuating Les is female and gay? Seems harsh to me....

"Can sir be trusted" Are you still at school and do you have a problem you want to share??

On a more serious note, perhaps Les was given control of dealings in the transfer window but with a certain budget. Harry picked his targets but none were within the budget set.

No point in just getting bodies in if they're not what the manager is specifically asking for or he may not play them. E.g. Zarate, allegedly...

Lets quit the the insults yeah ### was installed to handle transfers so he had to be the one to bring in Zarate who HR didn't want
maybe we should meet up to discus thiss without the insults yeah

I just wanted to applaud you for the use of the word Skullduggary.....

As for the conspiracy and why not sack him early to give someone new the window, surely that's obvious isn't it??? Tony has bankrolled loads of signings every window, but in the past our squad has been obviously lacking. This time he feels, as most fans do, that our squad is more than decent enough to be doing better hence he doesn't want loads more players, transition and expense. It's not needed.

The whole transfer window seams to of been an absolute shambles!!..... just before it started and very very early stages of it HR was very upbeat about it, saying 'he' had targets and how 'he' was looking forward to adding quality to the side.... came across as if 'he' was in control of these supposed signings (and rightly so as he was the manager). But now its come out Sir Les was in charge of signings. Just cant get my head around what happened. Did Les take over signings half way through the window?....... and why on gods earth was Les in charge of any signings in the 1st place? Had absolute nothing to do with him or his role at the club!....... Very confused as to what happened this transfer window!!!!!!!
          SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

That pretty much sums up what we either knew or suspected. To me it says Harry was past his sell-by-date and Fernandes knew it, but it seems rather than sack him, he was pushed out. It shows what a shambles this club has continued to be under TF. Perhaps they think they have a plan in place now HR's gone, which involves Les and Sherwood. I guess we'll know pretty soon. Just begs the question why this wasn't dealt sooner. Much sooner. Shambles.

to be honest, the whole thing seems weird...

over the weekend, i found myself trying to think of scenarios where i would have been able to imagine red chap still being in charge next season - he would have gone if we'd been relegated and , imo, if we'd finished just above the relegation places. in fact, i thought he would have had to have won 9-10 of the last 15 games to still be there next season (which really was never going to happen). really the question should be, why didn't the board take decisive action sooner rather than carry on with a lame duck manager for so long. i have no idea whether changing will help us, but it was reasonably clear that carrying on wouldn't help.

the club seems to finally be understanding that it needs to have a budget and stick to it. we can't splash the cash like it's going out of fashion while arguing that it's unfair to penalise us under ffp - we have to show some prudence and sensitivity to the concerns about our spending, not just run around acting like we're above the rules. maybe if someone would have taken a couple of players off our books, then we could have freed up some wages to spend on other loan players, but for all the rumours, it doesn't seem like anyone actually made serious bids for adel, philips, hoilett etc.

there's plenty of journalists out there who will swear blind that zarate was a player that red chap wanted - there may or may not have been tensions behind the scenes between sir les and red chap, but i doubt that we'd bring in a player that the manager would have no intention of playing at all (and besides, red chap has brought in lots of players who he then had no intention of playing regularly - ferdinand, mutch, philips, krancjar, maiga, chevanton, benayoun etc etc). i think the truth is that our medicals remain not that difficult and that unfit players can get through them without breaking a sweat (literally).

Good piece by Michael Hann too...

"The obvious conclusion from the last few years is that there is a deep-seated problem within the culture, whereby failure is tolerated. Possibly the reason, in many fans’ eyes, is that the club doesn’t seem to be central to the ambitions ofTony Fernandes and the consortium that owns Rangers.
Just look at the bungled announcement of its intention to build a new ground at Old Oak Common in northwest London (bungled because the owner of a chunk of the site, Car Giant, made plain it wanted to develop the land itself, without a football stadium, thank you very much). Or the signing of Ji-Sung Park, another of the underwhelming blasts from the past who’ve come to Loftus Road, pocketed their pay and not performed but acted as a useful marketing tool for Fernandes’s Air Asia. Building a strong football club seems to be somewhere down the list of priorities."

Yeah, read that yesterday VB, those two articles sum up what a mess this club is. Which begs the question: why? Or even, how? Why such a shambles, how did they allow it to get like this? Buck stops with TF, surely?

Mate forgive me for trying to post on my phone (mistakes )
I certainly don't agree most fans think our squad is good enough defence ? a shambles but that's not the issue it's about should TF been more honourable and sacked HR earlier now that it seems Ferdinand has his ear . that said my point was ,was there behind the scene dealings , no defence of HR or otherwise intended

We actually have really good individuals in defence that is the thing. Caulker is considered to be one of the best young centre backs in the league, Onuoha has plenty of qualities to make him a good defensive player who knows how to take the ball out of defence. Isla doesn't need much of an introduction to his qualities and Yun we have all seen to be a very solid player. There are certainly 5 or 6 teams with a worse defence individually than ours. Even goalkeepingwise, rob green is outstanding. I think the issue lies in the lack of knowledge of defensive coaching. My understanding is that we didn't really have an organisational defensive coach. Maybe with the new coaching team, we will see this dealt with. Harry and his backroom have always specialists in attacking coaching.

Caulker has made too many defensive errors and "best young centre backs in the league" is pushing it a bit mate.

But that is the point with regards to errors, everyone has acknowledged his quality around the league and he deservedly got an england call up. We have huge talent and potential in him and he can only get better imo. Remember there aren't many cb's of his age starting regularly in the league. Only players who are at his level at his age are Rojo and Phil Jones
