Well lets hope connelly gets back fit as he has made to many mistakes this season for my liking
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

So glad Damo is still at this club.. when on form he is a beast
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

We're strong in that department, and as much as he's an ok defender.... for me, Stewart is 4th.
            Connelly
            Gorkss
            Hall
            Stewart.

            But that's just my opinion.

As it goes, I think JMs two first choice centre backs are both injured at the moment.

he makes mistakes, however he does his job and gets the ball away. Tahts all i care about to be honest. As far as im concerned, we tend to let less goals in and are more threat from set pieces when he plays ahead of hall

any coincedence we concede less in the team with him around? would say he wins the most headers as well. May not be a tidy player but does the job. Cant just play the best players all the time, have to play the right players that suit the team as england have found out under capello.

I agree with QPRMarc.....Stewpeas is massively underated by a lot of fans!! For the last year and a half we have had one of the best defensive records in the division with Stewpeas playing most of those games. Yes he makes some mistakes but so do most defenders!! Ferdinand last week is just one example.....He is also our Strongest, Fastest and best headerer of a ball (and yes i'm including Gorkks) in defence. I think Connolly is brilliant but i'm not totally convinced you can play him and Gorkks together in central defence. The lack of pace and agression will catch us out!! As mentioned above Stewpeas is also our most threatening defender at set pieces so with all this taken into account how can anyone question his place in the team. The defence we have now with the exception of Connolly coming in for Borrowdale would be my first choice defence.
