The sort of signing that would give all our critics even more ammunition.NO.

An excellent player who could provide the link play for Austin and others. Is he right for a relegation battle? Not entirely convinced. One that could go either way.

Tough call. Fantastic player but probably a player that would excel in a mid table side.
Clinical and would get goals but with the service our midfield would provide?? hmm not sure he'd have the work ethic and commitment.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The term 'top player' is overused but Berbatov really was up there in his day.

Might not be what we need at present. Rather get someone who can play wide or stretch defences with a bit of pace à la Remy, but if we're adamant about signing a past-it Spurs striker we can't do any better than Berbatov.

                  Loan deal a no-brainer.

If he wants to come back to London I'm sure he would be keen to impress. An on song Berbatov is a brilliant player.

The way I see it, Top Top player, one of the best but not a top signing, wouldn't be too fond of him at the moment because his work ethic is not right for the scenario. Would love to see him at the club but now isn't the right time.

To survive this season we need fighters who will roll up their sleeves and compete for 90 minutes. We don't need any more
people wanting to open up nail salons. Our defence is the worst in the league, our GD is the worst too. Yes Berbatov CAN score, but he wants it gift wrapped and freeze framed to do it. Not gonna happen in our team. Waste of time and money getting a player like him in. I would prefer Crouch.

Good player in his day but on the way down hence why he is linked.

Tough one and i see both sides.

For me though does he improve the team/squad. When the team gets announced and i could see up front with Charlie Austin.... Berbatov or Zamora/Zarate its Berbatov every day of the week.

Zamora early on was a useful weapon but teams have worked him out and he has been so much less effective last month/6 weeks. Berbatov would at least create chances and score a fair few.

A good player but has he got enough blood and snot about him for our needs ?

                              No.

He gets disenchanted without decent service, and our build up play is just too slow to reap any benefit.
