I thought that was a disgrace when I read it this morning. If you offer free coach travel then surely it should be until all tickets are gone or at least close to selling until you have full buses. I understand they don't want 3 people on a bus but surely they could offer it a little longer and until 200 tickets left or something.

Pretty bad considering they get a grant from the Premier League to pay for coach travel and subsidise away tickets

I remember we played Port Vale near end of season and the club laid on free coaches and we had around 15 coaches if not more and took 4,000 this was when we were skint as well

I would of thought they would of done everything possible to get as many people up there for this game as possible especially as match tickets are only £16.00

Exactly. It's a con really. Exactly the same when they choose to offer free coach travel to Swansea, Everton and Sunderland, knowing full well the uptake in the offer will be next to non existent, so it doesn't cost them much.

How do you know every time they fund coaches is premier league money?? Is it a fact or an assumption?? Yes the prem gives money for fans travel but don't mean every time we do it its externally funded

did we sell out the original 1400ish? im assuming yes?

if we win away tomorrow these extra 900 are going to fly, especially if theyre still being priced at £16 a pop

Not sure mate, last I read around 600 were left.

It's a huge game though and still two weeks away. A new manager in place by the time the game comes round and cheap tickets I think it's the right decision. As you say, a positive result tomorrow and a sell out will be expected, if not I think we'll go close to taking the full allocation anyway.
